Veritas Funding aims to simplify things by providing mortgage solutions and educational services that are informative, seamless, and accessible to everyone. Aiding and educating is their primary goal, and we had the best solution for achieving both.
Show, don’t tell. Most people learn visually—and clarity is the product.
Mortgages are full of friction: jargon, anxiety, and uncertainty. If Veritas was going to win, the flagship experience couldn’t feel like another finance site. It had to teach, build trust quickly, and move people forward with confidence.
ThoughtLab partnered with Veritas Funding to modernize the brand and launch an interactive website designed to convert—using visual cues, motion, and guided interactions to make complex concepts easier to understand and easier to act on.
Veritas wanted the loan process to feel simple and clear—so we built it with both function and “wow.”
We designed custom calculators and interactive modules that make financial details easier to follow without dumbing them down. The goal wasn’t decoration—it was comprehension. Clear structure, intuitive inputs, and visual feedback reduced cognitive load and helped users feel in control.
A category-first lens guided the experience: in a market where most competitors rely on generic promises, Veritas could win by making clarity tangible. So we blended utility with delight—using color, shape, and motion to keep users engaged and moving toward conversion.
“Loan Officer” is just a title. Veritas wanted the process to feel personal—so we designed the people into the experience.
Trust in lending is personal. Instead of hiding the human behind a title, we built a loan officer profile system that lets customers meet the people they’re working with—names, personalities, and context that make the process feel relational rather than transactional.
It’s a small shift with big impact: a more human experience increases comfort, confidence, and follow-through. And by building it as a repeatable system, Veritas can scale the team and keep the experience consistent as they grow.
